Cultural Programs

Our cultural life is an arena for creative expression and for drawing out of each other our best versions of ourselves.  All programs are open to the public and we welcome your interest and participation.

An overall theme for each year, with this year being "Experiencing Compassionate Community,” adds another layer of learning possibilities. However, the real gift we give each other is enduring relationships, where we are forever learning how to remove conditions and limitations in order to become ever more connected, one with another, in our common values and aspirations.

Couples Network
The C
onscious Couples Network (CCN) helps couples enrich, renew and strengthen their relationship.

The Family Enrichment Network (FEN)
At work since 1983,  the Network presents a curriculum for developing each member of a family and the family system as a whole. Seasonal events include:

The Human Relations Laboratory
The Human Relations Laboratory is an annual, week long event, developed around a theme, for example, compassion. Lab is an unfolding experience, based on a combination of the theme, the issues and interests participants bring, and the skills and experience of the program staff and presenters.

Men's Culture
Our men’s cultural program supports men’s self-actualization, and encourages a sense of brotherhood through shared activities and intimate conversation.

Turtle Clan
Affectionately known as the Young and Restless Group (Y&R), this program supports 25-40ish year olds, as they deal with a developmental time of life marked by experimenting with lifestyle, career, and relationship choices.

Women's Culture
Women meet once a month, to encourage and support each other by addressing the real or practical issues of our specific lives; and explore what it means to be a good woman in this day and age.

Quest Counseling and Healing Center
Quest helps individuals evaluate their life situations and get started in a positive direction, with friends to support their efforts. Both John and Colette Hoff are respected counselors and coachers for individuals, couples and families. This therapeutic group for individuals meets Thursday evenings at 7:30 and is open to drop-ins. Suggested donation is $30 per session. For more information or to make an appointment, call (206) 323-4653.
