Cedar Grove and River

A walk across the meadow and a path through tall trees leads to an ancient grove of cedars, over 150 years old. Within the grove we have created a sacred circle dedicated to our late dear friend Beaver Chief, Fred Jameson. It is one of many sites on the land designed for quiet reflection and meditation.

The cedar grove path and and other paths through stands of  alder and maple, lead to the river. The unspoiled stream amazes us with its run of wild salmon each autumn, and opens up swimming holes for summer bathing.

Eleven acres of our property border on the other side of the river.
